This policy explains what information AnchorageRent.com (“AnchorageRent”, “we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it plain because the site is simple: we publish information and link to third-party providers. We don’t sell products, take bookings or run user accounts.
Information we collect
Technical information from hosting and security. AnchorageRent is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, requests to the site are processed by our hosting and security providers, which may log information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, referring page and time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems.
Analytics (if enabled). We may use a web analytics service to understand which pages are useful — for example, pages viewed, approximate location (region or country), device type and how visitors arrived. Depending on the provider, analytics may use cookies or similar technologies.
Affiliate click events. When you click a link to a third-party provider, we may record that the click happened — the page, the link’s position and the category — so we can understand which information is useful. When a partner allows it, the outbound link may carry a reference code identifying the page (not you) so the partner can attribute a booking.
Email sign-ups (optional). If you choose to join our email list, we collect your email address and the page where you signed up. We use it only to send the updates you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to include.
Third-party sites and affiliate networks
When you follow a link to another website — including a partner or affiliate link — you leave AnchorageRent. That site’s own privacy policy governs what it collects, which may include cookies used by affiliate networks to credit a referral. We don’t receive your booking or payment details from those providers; we may receive aggregate or transaction-level reports that don’t identify you by name.
How we use information
To operate, secure and improve the site; to understand which pages and links are useful; to send email updates you requested; to respond to messages; and to comply with legal obligations. We don’t sell your personal information.

Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Hosting and analytics providers retain logs according to their own policies.

- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information. Contact us to make a request.
Children
AnchorageRent is intended for adults planning travel and relocation. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
